How to earn cashback

  4. Shop and pay on the retailer's site like you normally do
  5. Retailer now pays us a commission for this sale. We pass that to you as 'cashback'. Initially your cashback remains in 'Pending' status. Once the return period of your product is over, retailer pays us in the next monthly payment cycle. Your cashback then becomes 'Confirmed'
  6. When you have earned a minimum of Rs.200 as Confirmed Cashback, we can pay the money to your Indian bank account via NEFT

Most retailers pay the same cashback rate if you use a voucher code along with it. However, some retailers might pay a lower rate, and very few might not pay cashback at all if used along with a voucher code. Once you share the product with your friends, it appears on their social media page and if the receiver buys the product, you get a cashback. even if the friends of your friend buy the product from your link, you will get a reduced cashback since you are the referrer. What is Cashback?

How long does it take for Pending cashback to get Confirmed ?

Your Cashback remains Pending until the return period of the retailer is over which may be upto 30 days. After the return period is over, the retailer is invoiced for this commission which we provide you as Cashback. The retailer pays us in the next months payment cycle, once we get the commission from the retailer, we confirm your Cashback immediately. This process may take anywhere between 4-12 weeks

If I shop twice from the same retailer, will I still get a cashback?

You can avail Cashback savings from every retailer listed on ZAPSTORE as many times as you want

Is Cashback guaranteed ?

Our service allows you to earn cashback on purchases from our partner retailers. To qualify for cashback, the retailer must Confirm that the purchase is tracked, genuine and successful (not returned or cancelled).

The retailer holds sole discretion in determining the validity of the cashback transaction. We try our best to get your cashback from the retailer but cashback is not guaranteed. If the retailer does not pay us any commission for the transaction, we cannot pay any cashback for the same.

Using a Coupon, Gift Voucher, Gift Card, Gift Certificate or Store Credit may void your cashback.

Average Confirmation rate for tracked transactions is 70-80% and for Missing Cashback Claims the Confirmation rate is much lower (50-60%)

Is there any difference between Pending, Confirmed and Declined cashback ?

Pending status simply means that we have successfully tracked your transaction. Once the status changes from Pending to Confirmed, it means that you can withdraw your Confirmed Cashback using our various withdrawal options. Declined cashback status means that the cashback has been denied by the retailer.

Why has been my cashback tracked at a lower amount than expected?

For some retailers, Cashback is tracked at base rate and the same is automatically updated at the time of confirmation. You need not worry about this.

Why is my cashback declined?

Cashback maybe Declined due to any of the following reasons:

  1. The purchase was partially or fully returned, cancelled or the order was amended.
  2. The purchase was not completed wholly online.
  3. You didn't clear your cookies before you made your purchase and another referrer has been awarded the cashback commission (e.g. a price comparison site, a coupon site).
  4. You didn't comply with the terms and conditions of the retailer.
  5. A voucher code or gift code was used.

Retailers do not provide us any specific reason for the same. The retailer holds sole discretion in determining the validity of the cashback transaction.

While we try our best to resolve your cashback query favourably, in some cases your cashback may be Declined. Unfortunately, once a retailer has made a decision, it is final.

Why is my Cashback status Pending ?

After you make a purchase at the retailers website using ZAPSTORE.com, your cashback is tracked automatically and shown as Pending under Recent Transactions section of your ZAPSTORE account. Until the retailer verifies your transaction to be genuine and valid, the status remains as Pending.

Will I get cashback, if I use coupon not mentioned at ZAPSTORE ?

In most cases using coupon is Ok and you will get cashback but it is not guaranteed.

Please do not open any other coupon/price comparison sites in the same browser after clicking the Get Cashback button. In such case, it may result in cashback not being tracked and the commission for your sale may be awarded to the site used therefore we will not be able to provide any cashback to you for that transaction.

For how long can I keep Cashback in my ZAPSTORE account?

Cashback in your ZAPSTORE account is your money and you can keep it for as long as you want.

How can I cancel my cashout request ?

For cancelling your Cashout Request, please contact the Support Team from the Support section of your ZAPSTORE account.

You can redeem your Cashback by logging into your ZAPSTORE account and clicking on the Redeem Now button.

How long does it take to process my Cashout Request ?

Cashout Requests are processed within 48 to 72 hours. After your Cashout Request is processed it may take a few hours for Bank Transfer to show up in your Bank account and E-Vouchers will be sent to your registered e-mail address.

How many times can I request for payout?

My Cashback got Confirmed but I am unable to withdraw it. Why?

To make your first withdrawal, you need a minimum of Rs 100 in your ZAPSTORE account for using Mobile Recharge option and Rs. 200 for using other withdrawal methods.

For subsequent withdrawals, Minimum Redemption amount for Mobile Recharge is Rs. 50 and for other withdrawal methods is Rs. 100

Pending Earnings

Pending Earnings are those that we have tracked as valid transactions and have been acknowledged by retailers. However, since they are still within the Return or Cancellation period they cannot be paid out to you yet.

Lets take an example. You make a purchase from Jabong.com for Rs. 500. Within 1-3 days you shall receive an email from us acknowledging that you have Pending Earnings of Rs. 30 (at 6% cashback rate).

Now once the cancellation/return period is over, Jabong.com shall confirm this to us and pay us in the next monthly payment cycle. We shall then move Rs. 30 to your Confirmed Earnings.

However, if your plans changed and you had to cancel your order, the transaction is cancelled and the cashback is removed from your Pending Earnings.

Confirmed Earning

Confirmed Earnings are those that have been approved as valid sales from retailers. When you collect a minimum of Rs. 250 in 'Confirmed' cashback we can pay the money to your Indian bank account by NEFT or by cheque (admin charge of Rs. 30 will be deducted from your cashback amount). You need a minimum of Rs. 250 as 'Confirmed' cashback for each payment request.

Missing Cashback

If your purchase was done less than 3 days ago, please wait a little longer. It typically takes between 6 - 72 hours for retailers to track sales, so you could still receive your cashback email automatically.

However, If your purchase was done over 3 days ago, please submit a missing cashback ticket within 10 days from the date of transaction. Any Missing Cashback Claims will not be accepted after 10 days. Sometimes, though rare, retailers fail to track a transaction on their end. After we receive transaction details from you, we can follow this up with the retailer, and endeavour to get your missing cashback.

When you log in to ZAPSTORE.com website, in the top right navigation bar you see 'My Account', click on it. Then click on Missing Cashback?. Here you can see the status of all your existing cashback enquiries. Click on the blue button to Add a new cashback enquiry. Please follow the simple steps to submit your ticket.

To ensure we get your money back to you, please help us with all the information as requested in the steps. You can follow the progress of your enquiry from this Cashback tickets page itself and even send us a message about the enquiry by clicking on the 'View details' link next to each enquiry.

Payment Methods

Cashback can be paid to you as per the below terms:

You can track the status of your cashback query by clicking on Missing Cashback? option from your ZAPSTORE.com My Account page. The different status mean:

  1. Received: This means we have received your query and have passed on the information to the retailer. We are currently awaiting a response from them
  2. Resolved: Your cashback query has been resolved and you can see your updated cashback under My Earnings
  3. Denied: The merchant has unfortunately refused your cashback query and has decided that the sale does not qualify for cashback, as per their Terms and Conditions on our website.

Unfortunately the retailer's decision is final and we will not be able to reverse it. Remember our incentives are always aligned with yours, so we would have done our best to get your cashback approved.

How do I enquire about the status of cashback query

When you log in to ZAPSTORE.com website, you see 'My Account', click on it. Then click on Missing Cashback?. Here you can see the status of all your existing cashback enquiries. For each ticket, you can click on View to see any comments from the support team. You can also use this to reach out to us.

Duration for Resolution

Cashback enquiries can take between 1 week to 3 months to resolve. Rest assured we will try our level best to resolve your missing cashback query as soon as possible. Remember our incentives are aligned with yours, and we only earn when you get paid a cashback.

Reasons for Missing Cashback

When you visit a retailer via our website, our systems can track that visit and record an 'exit click'. Thereafter, if you don't get an email from us about your cashback it is likely that somehow the retailer has missed the transaction. In these cases we will chase the retailer and do our best to get you your missing cashback. Please note that sometimes cashback is not paid on VAT and delivery amounts. Therefore, if you think your cashback tracked at a wrong number then this could be one of the reasons.

What if cutback is denied ?

The retailer holds sole discretion in determining the validity of the cashback query. While our Collections team shall try our best to resolve your cashback query favourably, in some cases your cashback may be declined. Please help us get your transaction approved from the retailer by providing all relevant proofs of purchase. Unfortunately, once a retailer has made a decision it is final.

How to request payment ?

To request payment, login to your ZAPSTORE account. Under ‘My Account’ on top right corner of the navigation bar, click on ‘My Earnings’. Here you can fill in your Indian bank account details that you want us to pay the Cashback to. We pay only to Indian bank account holders.

Please note that only Cashback with ‘Confirmed’ status can be paid. Until we receive payment from retailers, Cashback remains as ‘Pending’ and cannot be paid to you.
